Requirements: ** These Requirements ARE enforced, please be actively working on them or have them completed BEFORE applying ** We are looking for players who have flexible schedules to raid and progress through the game with us. Requirements for application include: - Level 80 (all applications from level 75-80 will be considered on a case by case basis with applications of level 80 being preferred) - Unguilded (we do not consider any applications from people who are in a guild that is currently raiding) - The add-ons CTRaidAssist (or oRA), Omen Threat Meter, Deadly Boss Mods (or Bigwigs) and Ventrilo are required. Returning Member Policy: Former Members of Tortured can re-apply ONCE and only ONCE. Each re-application is handled on a case-by-case basis, and a valid reason is needed to be accepted for the 2nd time. If the member chooses to leave us for a 2nd time, under no circumstances will the player rejoin the guild. Any former member who would like to come back must go through the Applicant Trial Process again as well. Application Period: Trial periods will last for a minimum two weeks. A decision on the application will be made in a timely manner, it is expected that the applicant attend at least 50% of the raids during this time (if under lvl 80 we will run a heroic with you). During this time you will be invited to the guild so that the members can get to know you, and vice versa. This gives everyone time to make sure that we are the place for you. Applicants are allowed (and encouraged) to bid on loot, but if a Tortured member also bids, the member will take priority. Raids: Raids usually start at 6:00pm PST. We are WestCoast friendly, and our Vent server is PC/Mac friendly. Attendance is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged. We are a raiding guild, so if you're on, we'd like you to raid. Tips: Please put a little effort into your application. When reviewing applications we mostly know you from what you write here. Spelling Punctuation and Gamma say a lot about you. Take a few moments to proofread your own words before you hit submit. Substituting letters (z for s) and lazy shorthand (wuz cuz h8) are very much frowned upon during the application review. We are far more likely to accept the application of a highly under-geared but literate applicant over a 'leet dood" any day of the week.
